I LOVE these shoes. They are comfortable, look stylish, and like all Clarks, run true to size and there is no break-in period. I wore them out the first night and never had any minute of discomfort.I would wear these with jeans or dressy outfits (I have indeed worn them with both). I think they'd look great with skirts, too.
BUT.
They have a velcro closure. I didn't even notice this at first, but my boyfriend said that they were grandma-friendly...he made it sound like the impression HE had was that they were geriatric shoes. Since then, two other people have made comments like that. So, could they bet better? Yes. Hence the 4 stars.
But I still love them. LOL
