I bought this pair for my mother, as a pair of walking shoes. I like its style, and the leather is also of a smooth good quality. The soles feel soft; and the zippers easily hold the shoes tight during fast walking.I am not sure whether its heels at 1.75" are a bit too high for a lady in her early 70s; but I have tried this pair, and I myself feel comfortable about the heel height.
