These boots are my world. These boots are my identity. These boots are all I ever want to wear.For years, all I wanted to do was wear flip flops but then years of wearing flip flops created strain on my small toes, my feet and my back. They also ruined all the hems of my jeans and made me look "schleppy."
I found these. They are treasure. I have three pairs. 2 in the brown and one in the black. I also have these: Clarks Women's Saloon Dillon Boot. Although not as immediately comfortable as these because they are a bit more narrow, they're still a gem.
Back to these: The leather is luxurious, so soft and buttery. I love taking care of these boots and it is something I do often with Dr Martens Wonder Balsam. I enjoy pampering these puppies because of the work they do for me.
The sole is cozy with so much cushioning that they are comfortable from first use. I still use Dr. Scholl's For Her Heavenly Arch Supports because I have high, persnickety arches. These boots stretch out a little bit which is great if your foot is on the wide side like mine. After serious wear they get a bit more loose but my arch supports from Dr. Scholl's keep my foot in place by adding a little bit of bulk beneath me.
Overall, they are amazing. They look polished with everything I wear whether it is jeans, skirts, or trousers. The heel height is perfect for keeping your jeans or pants from sweeping on the floor without being disruptive to your gait or causing strain in your body. Not everyone digs the western "Saloon" feel but I definitely do, these boots have become my signature. They're "me" and I've received nothing but compliments since buying them.
Since buying these and the Dillon boots, Clark's are pretty much all I wear. They are the only shoe company I trust to balance style & comfort as equally important and with them, I never feel like I'm making a compromise.
