Just got this boot in black and I couldn't be happier. Clarks are known for their comfort and this is no exception. I have a wide foot and a high arch so very often boots are uncomfortable for me but these have plenty of room and they will only get more comfortable as they break in. The size is true - I wear a 7 wide but if a shoe does not come in wide I will go a half size larger and in this case it was perfect. The leather is not polished but rather a satin (almost suede) look which I found to be beautiful.
