Clarks Women's Wave.Wheel Sneaker,Stone,7.5 M US Review
I purchased the white. That color looks like a sneaker or gym shoe, but it's definitely not. This is a real shoe. They come with a removal orthopedic type insole. These aren't soft, pliable shoes. The body of the shoe is firm and supportive. The footbed of the shoe is highly cushioned, but firm. Inside the body of the shoe is almost completely padded. The tongue is padded. The ankle area is padded and very comfortable. No part of this shoe jabs into the back of the ankle. The soles are a non skid gripper type. These shoes really support the feet. It is not like walking on marshmallows or clouds. No, it similar to walking on soft, but very, very dense memory foam. The cushion gives and then pushes back. The overall feel is one of comfort and support. They are lighweight. The tip of the toe area curves slightly upward. I don't necessarily like that curved toe look, but it's probably important in the construction of these shoes. Thankfully, it's not a dramatic "genie" look.
Clarks claims are true. While wearing, these shoes do seem to propel my walking stride. Walking seems more effortless. I find them a true medium width. I have plenty of toe room. I wear a size 10 and the length is perfect for me. I didn't need a break in period, even with the removal insole in tact. They fit well out of the box. I bought a couple of pairs. I'd have liked a suede pair, but since the white color is marked down dramatically, I chose those. It's not a bright white, more of an eggshell or oyster color.
UPDATE: I have arthritis in my knee joint. Wearing these shoes really helps allieviate pain while walking. At first, I thought I should feel a lot of cushioning under my arch. There is some, but there's no need to have the arch "propped up" by extreme cushioning. Your heel settles back into the shoe and stays in that position, forcing the arch to stay up, and the toes to stay straight. Now, I understand why the sole has that slight upward curve. By design these shoes hold the feet in proper alignment and propel proper stride. Then, the cushioning in the entire footbed absorbs much of the impact shock. Even the sole is designed to absorb impact. It takes a big load off the knee joints.
Also, when I removed by shoes, after wearing 12 hours, my feet felt perfectly relaxed. I felt no need to lightly massage my feet or wiggle my toes, in order to get the kinks out. I highly recommend for arthritic knee joints. Without a doubt, these are the best shoes I have ever worn!

Real US Made Basketball Shoes? You've Got to be Kidding! by Michiel Van Kets - iSnare Ezine ArticlesMy faithful set of basketball shoes was wearing a little thin so I reluctantly decided arrived to replace them. Being concerned about what outsourcing did to the US economy I resolved that I would replace my old Reeboks (which are made in Korea) with a couple of real and 100% genuine "Made in USA" basketball shoes. During the process I wanted to keep out of the clutches from the scammers and spammers who were selling fake replica shoes.
First I went on the internet and looked at the dazzling selection of beautiful new court shoes available, but there was clearly no indication of where these could have been made so off I went along to Google. There I soon found out that all of big brand shoes like Big N… ( you already know who I mean the king of shoes which made over a billion dollars profit this past year) were made overseas, that this labor practices inside their overseas plants was less than desirable, and the foreign operations of an number of U.S. shoe companies made a lot to become desired.
From there I decided to try the Mall and started looking at the labels of all the brand name basketball shoes - "Made in VietNam", "Made in Korea", Made in China", "Made in Thailand”, "Made in “Indonesia" and "Made in Brazil". Not a single pair "Made in USA". This didn't seem to help much so I turned to the hovering clerk
