I actually purchased these boots in a Clarks store. Did the usual: get them home and walk around in them (on carpeted floor) to make sure they would give a little and not be as snug as when they were first tried on. After a short time walking in them, they did give, and are so comfortable!!The heel is not too high, it's just right to be able to be worn in a casual manner with boot cut jeans, but able to be dressed up with some skinny jeans and a cute top for a night out. I was lucky enough to find these shoes here on Amazon for forty dollars cheaper than in the store. No tax AND free shipping; It was a no-brainer. Too good to be true. Needless to say, I returned the 2 pair I had bought in-store (black and brown,) and I purchased both pair here. Can't wait for the black pair to arrive!!
If you're on the fence, get them. They are worth the price and if you take good care of them you can have them for many years to come.
