They are receiving an excellent sale. Picked up some purple reptile print J. Renee sling back pumps. As soon as I laid eyes on them it was love at first sight. I tried them on within the store while using the stocking footie and they also fit fine. When I got home and did the test I was disappointed simply because they SQUEAK… I sounded like I was walking around in an old house. I am debating if they should take them back because I love them a lot. I checked online to see what to do about squeaky shoes and discovered that people recommend putting lotion inside the shoe. I am nervous about doing that.
It reminds me of a funny story. I was finding a makeover with the MAC counter in Southpark Mall a few years ago and this woman walked through and her shoes were squeaking so loud. Without looking up the make-up artist said, “Cheap Payless shoes, you can hear them one mile away.” I was embarrassed on her behalf. So beware of squeaking shoes in case you are shopping discounted stores. Squeaking is not a good thing. If you have tried the lotion or DW40 (I read someone mention using that) inform me how that went.
