I was nervous about purchasing the Clarks Wave Trek walking shoes on line without trying them on. so I searched local stores and finally found them at of all places, a Clarks outlet for $70.The fit is great - I wear a 8.5 medium, but I opted to go to a wide because I wear heavier socks with these shoes. I am about to head to Africa, so I have been wearing them non-stop to break them in, and really there is no need - they are very comfortable and provide light arch support. If you need more arch support, I recommend that you purchase inserts in addition.
I purchased the dark blue shoes, and they have teal colored stitching and accents. What I most about them is that I get a comfortable, athletic shoe feel without the casualness of a tennis shoes. I even wear them to work.
